5 Questions To Change Your Life

The person that you most need to invest in, to believe in, to support and to reassure — is you. How to find inspiration when you need it most.

What would it take for you to be the type of person that would inspire you?

Sometimes everything looks right on paper. But it’s not. Something just isn’t right.

On the outside you’re strong. On the inside, you’re wilting. Atrophy is setting in.

The edge you once had is getting dull. The friction you once craved has been replaced by passivity.

Your openness to learning is slowly transitioning to indifference.

It’s the feeling of being a spectator watching your own life from the stands.

It’s the feeling of barreling down the runway on a jet at top speed, but for some reason, it won’t take off.

It’s waking up each morning saying, “today is going to be the day.” Yet each day passes without a change.

It’s all of the powerful conversations where you talk about all the things that you’re going to do, not knowing if you’re ever going to do them.

It’s the metaphorical tap on your shoulder that calls you to act yet you ignore it.

It’s during these moments that you can feel like it’s all for nothing. That whatever you have inside of you is going to waste.

It isn’t that you haven’t tried. It’s that you’ve been stuck. Stuck in the purgatory of in between.

The in between of an idling car. The engine simultaneously giving nothing while well aware of the potential of shifting into drive.

You ask for permission or wait until you’re inspired. As you do, another day passes by.

The odds are you know exactly what you need to do. You know the next step to take.

Instead, you flinch.

What would it take for you to be the type of person that would inspire you?

What action? What behavior? What thought?

What’s the first step that no one but you can offer yourself?

The permission you require is your own.

Though it may feel like you’re walking on a tight rope without a safety net beneath you, the safety net has been there all along.

Though it may feel like you need stability before we can act, you offer all the stability that you will ever need. If you believe it.

Everything you need to shift from “when” to “now” is already in your possession.

The person that you most need to invest in, to believe in, to support and to reassure — is you.

There is no plan A or B. There is just one plan. The plan that you commit to each day. This determines everything.

You are built for greatness. The best thing that ever happened to you hasn’t happened yet.
